1. Acceptance of your order
As soon as your payment goes through, PayPal will email you a receipt confirming your order and what you paid. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Wootton Industries Limited takes place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the cancellation instructions below.
Non-acceptance of an order by UK Online Signs may be a result of:
- The product you ordered being out of stock (see Availability below)
- Identification of a pricing or product description error
- Failure of payment authorisation
- Inability to deliver to your stated address
Your PayPal receipt serves as confirmation of your order. Should you not receive a PayPal receipt shortly after paying, please contact us.
2. Pricing
All prices shown on the website are in £ Sterling. We are not VAT registered, so prices are not subject to VAT. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time. The price you see in your basket at checkout is the price you pay (plus delivery if applicable).
3. How to pay
For website orders, we accept:
- PayPal — either using your PayPal balance, or as a guest with any debit or credit card. PayPal handles your payment securely; we never see your card details.
For government and education accounts, we also accept:
- Bank transfer (BACS) on receipt of invoice
- Company cheque (payable to Wootton Industries Limited)
Bespoke orders are paid in full before manufacture begins.
4. Cancelling your order

5. Delivery
The contents and weight of your order determine which delivery services are available. We select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. Items in your order may arrive at different times. Delivery will be between 7:30am and 6:00pm — we are unable to confirm a specific time.

6. Delivery area
We deliver across Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales, including the Scottish Highlands & Islands) using Royal Mail. We are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland (BT postcodes), and we do not export outside the UK. Your delivery postcode is confirmed at checkout; orders to Northern Ireland cannot be placed.
7. If you're out when we deliver
If you're out when the driver tries to deliver, they will try a neighbour or find a safe and secure place to leave your parcel. If they cannot find a safe place, your parcel will be returned to the depot. They'll leave a card explaining where your parcel is and what to do next.
8. Email security
Wootton Industries Limited will never send any email asking for your credit card details, account passwords, or asking you to log in to our website via a link in an email. If you receive any email asking for this information claiming to be from us, please delete it immediately and report it to us at sales@ukonlinesigns.co.uk.
9. Availability of goods
All items are subject to availability. While we stock most catalogue items in volume, we'll inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available, and offer either a substitute, a delay estimate, or a full refund.
10. Delays
Occasionally, the manufacture of your goods may be delayed for reasons such as material shortages, import delays, equipment downtime, or higher than anticipated demand. We will make every effort to keep you informed and to give a revised dispatch estimate.
11. Title and risk
Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you on delivery. Title to the goods passes to you on full payment.
12. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any failure of the goods is limited to the price you paid for them. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under English law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page shows when they were last changed. The terms that apply to your order are those in force at the time you place it.
